Default Setup

Google Cloud offers serving configurations for AI Commerce Search and Recommendations AI. Each new Google Cloud catalog project contains two default configurations, one for each type:

AI Commerce Search

Recommendations AI

default_search

recently_viewed_default

AI Commerce Search

Retail Cloud Connect uses the default_search serving configuration for both search and category pages.

Recommendations AI

Each Recommendations AI model can be associated with one serving configuration, but merchants can apply multiple Serving Controls.
