Installing the Retail Cloud Connect Search Results App Block

Learn how to add, configure, and customize Google Cloud’s Discovery AI search results to your Shopify theme using an App Block.

Installation Steps

  1. Visit the Theme Installation page in the Retail Cloud Connect Shopify app

  2. Ensure there is an available “Search and Browse” Serving Configuration available

  3. Click the Install App Block button on the Search Results Page card

  4. Hide the original Search results under Template or you will see double results

  5. Copy a Google Cloud Catalog Project ID from the Theme Installation page and paste it in the App Block settings

  6. Copy a Serving Configuration ID from the Theme Installation page and paste it in the App Block settings
